Responsibilities:
● Managed and consistently maintained a clean and organized facility
(break areas, restrooms, shop floor, trash bins).
● Assist in shop machine cleanliness (metal scrap, weekly wipe down, shop rack area).
● Comply with safe work practices; understand and follow work injury procedures
and OSHA standards.
● Restock PPE locations and report opportunities for safety improvements.
● Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Required Experience:
● A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
● Prior experience working in a custodial or cleaning role; preferred experience in a
warehouse, machine shop environment, or similar.
● Knowledge of properly using cleaning chemicals, storage, and waste processes.
● Operating and using custodial equipment, i.e., brooms, mops, and industrial cleaning
equipment.
● Ability to follow work and safety procedures such as OSHA, Torus’ PPE Policy and Safety
Programs.
Physical Requirements
● Must have the ability to safely lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs
● Must be capable of standing, bending, and executing repetitive tasks for prolonged
periods of time.
● Ability to read, identify, observe and recognize details, color-coding and fine print at
close range on associated engineering drawings.
● Ability to use personal protective equipment to include, but not limited to, respiratory
protective equipment with proper seal, coveralls, ear protection, gloves, eye protection &
safety helmet
