Job Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as proficiency in using various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
· Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
· Perform electrical wiring, and testing of products to ensure functionality and quality.
· Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
· Inspect components and finished assemblies for defects or irregularities, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
· Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and company guidelines.
· Assist with troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning units as needed.
· Document assembly procedures, modifications, and quality checks for traceability.
· Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and techniques.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support team goals for production targets.
Qualifications:
· 3 years of experience in assembling electro-mechanical systems
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant vocational training preferred.
· Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field.
· Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly processes and techniques.
· Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.
· Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
· Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
· Basic computer skills for documenting work and tracking assembly progress.
· Familiarity with safety procedures and ability to follow them in a manufacturing environment.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
