Job Full Description
A custom sheet metal fabrication shop is hiring a Powder Coating Line Mechanical Assembler in Newport News!
What you would be doing:
- Assemble complex large parts according to work instructions and blueprints
- Install nuts, bolts, and rivets by hand or with tools
- Cap and cover the powder coating that has been applied to protect the surface from damage while being assembled
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of assemble experience, preferably including assembling powder coated components
- Ability to read shop blueprints and instructions
- Good basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- Able to lift 75-100 pounds, stand, walk, sit, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, reach, and perform repetitive hand and finger movements
Schedule:
Monday through Friday Midnight to 8:30am
Overtime is optional
