Job Full Description
A custom sheet metal fabrication shop is hiring a CNC Punch Press Set Up Operator in Newport News!
What you would be doing:
- Produce sheet metal components, typically light gauge aluminum, stainless, and or copper
- Multiple setups a shift for short and longer production runs
- Use blueprints, drawings, and sketches to create and edit programs for an Amada Punch Press. Sometimes these are complex drawings
- Use a forklift to load and unload
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of CNC Punch Press experience
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Edit G Code
Schedule:
Monday through Friday Midnight to 8:30am
Overtime is optional
