An established and well-known not-for-profit organization in Fairfax, VA is looking for a parking lot flagger to join their team. Given the nature of their business, candidates will be subject to a background check. The right candidate MUST have a background free of criminal convictions (including misdemeanors) and have a mostly clean driving record. An existing medical DOT card or the ability to obtain one is required.
Primary Duties:
· Traffic Control: Use hand signals, stop signs, and slow paddles to direct vehicles through the parking lot, ensuring a safe and smooth flow of traffic.
· Communication: Communicate with drivers, providing clear instructions and directions.
· Safety: A Flagger's main priority is safety. They are responsible for ensuring the safety of both construction workers and motoring public.
Requirements:
· Must supply a clean DMV report
· Flex Schedule
· Able to withstand extreme weather
·Able to stand and work for long periods of time
