Job Full Description
A well-established non-profit located in Falls Church, VA, is seeking a Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and a passion for supporting organizational operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members, taking messages as necessary.
- Greet visitors, providing excellent customer service and directing or escorting them as needed.
- Manage and maintain records for all registered mail and incoming deliveries from external carriers.
- Perform various clerical duties such as imaging, typing, filing, creating labels, and preparing mailings.
- Enter routine data into computer programs and databases accurately.
- Assist team members and cover for colleagues during absences or periods of increased workload.
- Maintain office and kitchen supplies, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
- Support additional operations tasks and special assignments as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of administrative or receptionist experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
