Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass components. Your expertise will ensure that our customers' vehicles are safe and visually appealing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a keen eye for detail. The hours for this position are 8:00am - 5:00pm
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace various types of automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete glass installations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any additional repairs needed related to auto glass or surrounding areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and high-quality service delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding glass services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in auto glass technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive repair or maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with auto glass installation techniques and materials.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the automotive industry.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform precise measurements and cuts.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices is a plus.
- Experience in auto body repair or window tinting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required; additional certifications related to automotive services are a plus.
