Schedule: 4/10 hour shift. Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 DOE

Duties:

  • Receives, prioritizes, schedules, and coordinates preventative maintenance, repair and installation work orders or requests
  • Schedules, coordinates, and records regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery, processing equipment and facilities systems. May orient other Maintenance Technicians
  • Communicates with planners, managers, supervisors, and others to schedule, communicate and record work progress. Maintains positive vendor working relationships/communicates vendor problems w/ other operations units
  • Diagnoses problems affecting operation of process equipment, machinery, tools and facility equipment. May be designated as a “primary” contact for troubleshooting specialized equipment such as robotics, material forming, hydraulic, pneumatic, or other equipment. Develops sequenced course of action for repair
  • Coordinates and performs regular inspections of equipment and machinery according to operating manuals and standard maintenance procedures to assure operating efficiency and identify potential problem areas. Documents inspection activities and establishes schedules for review of potential problems
  • May prepare reports summarizing service related information such as duplicate processes; material overages & shortages; and increase or decrease in demand

Qualifications:

  • Six or more years of experience in the maintenance of process equipment, machinery, tools, and facilities systems in an industrial setting required
  • Performance of this position requires a thorough working knowledge of the purpose and operations of metal finishing and processing including sawing, tube bending, CNC machining, welding, shot blasting and industrial paint systems
  • Requires in-depth technical knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical equipment and systems
  • Requires skill at diagnosing systems with automated controls, troubleshooting, and solving mechanical problems
  • Requires the ability to perform a full range of maintenance activity on process equipment, machinery including CNC machines, tools, and facilities systems
