Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is hiring a service technician to join a well-established and locally owned retailer in Whatcom County. Job Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing appliances in customers’ homes
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure appliances are in working condition
- Document and report all activities and maintain accurate repair records
- Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide repair status
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and industry best practices
- Read and understand schematics
- Handyman mindset
- Move and lift up to 100 lbs
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Clean driving record
- Certification in a relevant technical field
- This is a safety-sensitive position, and a federal drug screen is required
