Job Full Description
Overview: A local construction company servicing Kitsap County and the surrounding area is seeking self-sufficient, experienced carpenters to assist with various residential remodel projects, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, flooring, and other general carpentry tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, work well both independently and as part of a team, and be committed to producing high-quality work.
JOB DUTIES:
May include but not limited to the following:
- Perform a variety of carpentry tasks related to residential remodels.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials accurately.
- Install cabinets, doors, trim, flooring, and other finish carpentry elements.
- Ensure projects meet quality and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in residential carpentry and remodeling
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- Own basic carpentry tools (preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift and carry materials as needed
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Pay:
$30-$35/hour DOE
Schedule:
Flexible scheduling based on project needs, part-time hours to start with potential for full-time as business expands.
