Job Full Description
Overview
- Handle and prepare wood materials by unwrapping pallets, labeling, and re-wrapping.
- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas to optimize workflow.
Responsibilities
- Unwrap pallets of wood, staple barcodes on each board, and re-wrap pallets securely.
- Strap stacks of wood, throw cables over railcars, and tighten ratchets to secure loads.
- Adhere to safety procedures while handling materials and operating forklifts.
Experience
- Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and understanding load safety practices.
- Strong work ethic, efficient time management, and a consistent attendance record.
