Job Full Description
Are you a skilled machine operator looking for a new challenge? Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join the Parts Department of an industrial company in Arlington, WA. This role involves operating various machinery and handling materials to manufacture steel parts. This is a fulltime, permanent position offering day shift hours and a great benefits package upon hire.
Location: Arlington, WA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M.
Pay Rate: $22 - $28/hr (based on skills and ability)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate automated steel angle and steel flatbar parts line (Anglematic).
- Operate large and small steel punch and steel shear equipment for manufacturing small parts.
- Handle materials using roller/conveyor systems.
- Operate large band saws.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude.
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Must obtain Forklift and Crane Operator certifications after hire.
- Opportunity to operate both smaller and large industrial-sized forklifts.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Excellent longevity at previous employers (farming experience is a plus!)
- Proven experience in operating industrial machinery.
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications.
