Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring a Bilingual Floater Supervisor for a manufacturing company in Arlington, WA. This is a full-time, permanent position. We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to lead our client's machine operators and cooking crew. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Pay is $25 - $25 per hour, DOE, plus benefits.

In this role, you will report directly to the Production General Manager and be responsible for driving results in the packaging and cooking departments through effective resource management, safe operating procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory compliance.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments to ensure the production of products to meet customer specifications, company quality standards, and customer delivery requirements.
  • Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, safety standards, and quality of products.
  • Train, coach, and involve employees; appraise performance; offer praise and hold accountable; address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Oversee and review all required paperwork, reports, and documentation.
  • Coordinate the production planning process with other departments for downtime for PM and Work Order completion.
  • Actively participate on cross-functional teams for the continuous on-going improvement of methods and processes.
  • Continually review, recommend, and implement programs to comply with all State, Federal, and local safety and sanitation regulations and employment issues.
  • Ensure proper upkeep of equipment; address and resolve problems; initiate work orders for repairs.
  • Maintain a high level of completion of quality initiatives for the plant such as CAPA Completion/SQF Preparedness/HAACP Awareness/GMPs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Report to work on time and work overtime as required.
  • Oversee the production process: from the entry of the raw material to the exit of the finished goods.

WORK EXPERIENCES

  • 3+ years leadership experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to direct, coach, and develop a team of 20-30 associates on a daily basis.
  • Lead by example to create and maintain a workplace culture that engages and motivates associates at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and develop relationships across all levels and functions of the organization to support overall business success.
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions regarding resource utilization and needs.
  • Experience implementing Continuous Improvement tools to improve Packaging & OEE Performance preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of ADP and ERP systems a plus.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY This position directly supervises a team of 20+ hourly associates.

ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)

  • Microsoft Office and PC skills.
  • Work extended days and/or weekends with flexibility to switch shifts as required.
  • Aptitude for teambuilding and employee engagement.
  • Results-oriented, process improvement focused.
  • Highly organized, self-starter that can work with little direct supervision.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a must.
