Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Production Operator for a client in Marysville, WA. This is a full-time, permanent position offering day shift hours.
Responsibilities:
- Machine Operations: Assist with machines that coil post-tensioning cable, ensuring smooth operation.
- Coiling and Rolling: Turn coiled cord into rolls, maintaining precision and quality.
- Binding and Securing: Tie or bind coiled rolls for transport or storage.
- Transporting Coils: Lift and move bound rolls to designated areas.
- General Labor: Perform tasks such as installing hardware on cables, cleaning the work area, assisting in maintenance, and managing materials.
Position Requirements:
- Understand machine operation concepts and control machines via HMI (Human Machine Interface).
- Read and interpret order information, programming it into the operator interface.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks like clearing machine faults and removing jammed debris.
- Provide direction to a team of 4-7 members.
- Maintain a clean work environment and work well within a team.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in a fast-paced industrial setting.
- Willing to work up to 12-hour shifts.
Additional Information:
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
- Steel-toed boots are mandatory.
