Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring a Risk Manager for local organization. This is a fulltime, permanent position with benefits and interviews are taking place immediately!
Position Title: Risk Manager
Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000
Overview: The Risk Manager will be responsible for managing and mitigating risks associated with our client's operations, particularly in the insurance sector for government entities. This role involves working closely with board members and senior leadership to ensure effective risk management strategies are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment and Management: Identify, assess, and prioritize risks to the organization. Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential impacts.
- Insurance Management: Oversee the insurance plans for government employees, ensuring comprehensive coverage and cost-effectiveness. Evaluate and select insurance providers, considering options that offer the best pricing and coverage for both government and casino operations.
- Benefits Management: Manage the organization's benefits plans, including vetting providers, managing the RFP process, and conducting committee reviews. Ensure that all benefits plans are competitive and meet the needs of employees.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring they meet the organization's requirements. Explore options for consolidating vendors to achieve better pricing and coverage.
- Collaboration: Work closely with board members and leadership to align risk management strategies with organizational goals and objectives. Provide regular updates and recommendations to the board.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in risk management, preferably in the insurance sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including the Tribal Council.
- Knowledge of RFP processes and vendor management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in risk management (e.g., CRM, ARM) is a plus!
- Experience working with government entities.
