Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring a Production Associate for a small, reputable company located in Mukilteo, WA. Starting pay is $20 per hour. This is a full-time, permanent position on day shift working 7:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load/unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Move materials to/from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles.
- Inspect materials for defects and document quality issues.
- Operate CNC machines, water jets, computer-controlled knives, manual presses, and die-cutting equipment.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Work with elastomers, foam, gasket sheets, cellulose fibers, cork, felt, O-Ring Cord, plastics, and matting.
- Cut, shape, and assemble gasket materials to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Follow safety protocols and use PPE.
- Lift materials up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn and operate various machines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Experience with material handling equipment is a plus.
