Job Full Description
Express has a great opportunity for Part Time Accounts Payable 20 hours a week at a local mill in Longview, WA! This is a temporary position for a indefinite period of time with potential to go perm.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for processing supplier invoices and other associated tasks to maintain on-time payments in SAP (purchase order or non-purchase order). Provide support to suppliers and facility personnel related to payment processing. Identify invoices that cannot be processed and work to resolve with suppliers or work with appropriate personnel for approval and/or resolution. Verify appropriate sales/use tax on invoices. Understand other payment processing including: stop payments, fraud analysis, check verification, check cancellations/re-issues, and initiation of wire transfers.
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate Degree with an emphasis in accounting/finance/business
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounts payable position
- Experience with SAP R/3 or other ERP system is desired
- Excel proficient
- Self-starter and can take the initiative towards process improvements
- Proactively investigate issues and resolve problems
- Effectively respond to internal and external requests

Compensation: $23-$26 an hour DOE
Work Schedule – 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
