Express is actively recruiting for a Maintenance Mechanic for our client company in Woodland, WA. Pay will be dependent on experience.
Job Duties:
Under general supervision, this position performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on facilities equipment, welding & cutting stainless, move conveyors, forklift, assembly of production equipment, can disassemble and reassemble machinery, lifting up to 50lbs
Responsibilities:
Performing operational and process checks on various types of equipment
Conducting preventive maintenance and inspections on various types of equipment including packers, box erectors, valves, conveyer assembly, accumulators, actuators and forklifts
Troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment to diagnose and repair issues
Investigating issues to determine root cause and preventive measures
Following all safety procedures, rules and regulations
The candidate's experience should include the following areas:
Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools
Ability to learn new systems and equipment
Working knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatic systems and hydraulic systems
Troubleshooting electric and hydraulic systems
Forklift experience
Minor welding experience- wire feed and stick
Hours will vary. Employee will be working a mid/ swing rotation shift. Monday – Friday with some Saturdays and overtime is required
