Position: Supply Chain and Inventory Control Coordinator
Type: Full time, Direct Hire
Location: Edmonds
Pay: $70,000-$80,000 annually
Job Details: This person will be responsible for inventory planning, supply chain operations, and related customer service for the organization. The successful candidate will be organized, data and task driven, and a team player who works to ensure that all customer needs are met.
Responsibilities:
• Plans and maintains inventory across multiple US distribution centers ensuring that customer demand is met while also minimizing excess stock.
• Coordinates order management with suppliers including accurately planning for shipping lead times to ensure on time delivery standards are met.
• Maintains and provides accurate inventory information to customer service team to assist with customer special orders.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational alignment and swift issue resolution.
• Utilizes demand forecasting tools to predict product demand including analyzing historical data and current trends to guide purchasing decisions.
• Maintains organized recordkeeping including inventory status, supply chain updates, supplier pricing records, product databases, and other relevant documents to ensure accurate cost tracking, profitability metrics, and up-to-date product information.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate product catalogs, including customer-specific catalogs, ensuring all product specifications are accurate and updated accordingly.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or participation in company GEDWorks Program required.
• 3+ Years in Inventory Control, Supply Chain Planning, or related field, required.
• Demonstrated mid-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is strongly preferred.
• Experience with logistics, including freight carriers, is preferred.
• Experience in working with international shippers preferred
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills required, including ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work independently.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, and mathematical skills required.
