Shifts: Monay-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM

Job Details: The Control & Instrument (C&I) Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance & repair of a variety of electrical equipment, such as control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, switches and more. The C&I Tech must be able to diagnose electrical trouble and work from wiring diagrams to plan and perform installations and maintenance. They must also possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, a proven track record in delivering high-quality work and especially a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities: 

- Installation & Maintenance: Set up, calibrate, and maintain control systems, sensors, and instrumentation equipment.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and fix faults in control systems, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors.
- Testing & Calibration: Ensure accuracy and reliability by regularly testing and fine-tuning instruments.
- PLC Systems: Read and understand Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) with ladder logic to control various types of machinery and systems.
- Wiring & Circuitry: Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints for electrical and control systems.
- Compliance & Safety: Follow industry regulations and safety procedures while working with electrical and control systems.


Qualifications/Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical circuits, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation. MUST BE FAMILIAR with NEC and UL508.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to diagnose faults and optimize system performance.
- Diagrams & Drawings: Ability to read & understand documents, blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and MS Suite.
- Education: Two years of technical school or equivalent experience in a job or military setting or 6+ years of experience in similar role.  While an associate degree or vocational training in instrumentation, electrical engineering, or a related field is a plus, it is not required—hands-on experience is the most important factor.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
