Job Full Description

We are recruiting a motivated and dedicated Outreach Specialist. The Outreach Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing outreach strategies that effectively engage the community, foster relationships, and promote the organization’s mission and services.
What you get to do:
- Engage with the diverse communities in Skagit County and effectively communicate the organization's initiatives, services, and resources
- Conduct outreach activities to diverse communities in Skagit County, including but not limited to community centers, schools, religious institutions, and social gatherings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, organizations, and key stakeholders to foster collaboration and mutual support.
- Serve as a cultural liaison, bridging the language and cultural gaps between our organization and the communities we serve.
- Develop and implement culturally appropriate strategies to effectively communicate our organization's mission, goals, and services to diverse populations.
- Provide information, resources, and support to community members, ensuring their equitable access to our programs and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and adapt outreach materials, ensuring they are culturally sensitive and accessible to diverse communities.
- Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and presentations to promote awareness and understanding of our organization's initiatives.
- Collect and analyze data pertaining to community engagement, outreach efforts, and program effectiveness, providing regular reports to management.
- Stay updated on local, state, and national policies and issues affecting the communities we serve, and advocate for their needs within the organization.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development to enhance cultural competency, language skills, and knowledge of community resources.
What you need to be successful:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for promoting inclusivity and cultural understanding
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay: $28.00
