Job Full Description
We are recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage and oversee the accounts payable process for our client, a family-owned business in the forest products industry. As a trusted staffing agency, we are excited to assist them in finding their next Account Payable Specialist to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles. This role is crucial to maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our client's business.
What you get to do:
- Process accounts payable, organize invoices with supporting documentation, and reconcile statements.
- Monitor public Outlook folders for incoming invoices
- Complete various daily and monthly reports
- Greet visitors, answer, and route incoming calls, and provide customer service
- General office duties including cross-training on other office positions
- Update and maintain vendor database to include W8BEN and W9 tracking
- Work collaboratively and promote a team environment
- Effectively work within deadlines and set schedules
What you need to be successful:
- 6+ months of Accounts Payable and office clerical or related data processing preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills with emphasis on professionalism
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Pay: $22.00
