Specialized Recruiting Group is now hiring for a Mental Health Therapist at a company based out of Olympia, WA. This is a direct hire opportunity. The schedule is flexible as far as days/hours worked. The compensation for this position will vary based on hours worked but typical range is between $76,000-$170,000 annually. This company offers a professional development assistance, including assistance obtaining licensure. They will also provide a guided step-by-step process for building your business and preparing to practice. consistent in-depth practice consultation with a dedicated account manager to help you reach your goals and learn how to not only build a successful practice, but also prevent burnout, making quality care possible. They can also provide paneling with major insurance payors, if eligible as well as billing and collections services provided by knowledgeable and skilled teams working on your behalf six days a week.
Job Duties:
- Provide direct support and counseling to individuals with mental health disorders, including autism, through various therapeutic techniques.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Utilize evidence-based practices such as behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis to address behavioral challenges and promote positive outcomes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide counseling services to children and families, focusing on improving communication, coping skills, and overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
- Stay current with research and developments in the field of mental health therapy to provide the best possible care.
Job Qualifications:
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Valid state licensure as a mental health therapist or counselor is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of special education systems and services is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with individuals with mental health disorders.
