Express is now hiring for an Account Executive at a local association based out of Tumwater, WA. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. There is an opportunity for a remote hybrid schedule, though some travel is required. The starting salary for this position will $76,000-$83,000 annually, DOE. Job Details: The Account Executive serves as the organization's representative to the members in their assigned book of business as well as the public in general. The Account Executive’s responsibilities include all facets of customer service, promotion & education of new products, as well as ongoing support for participating employees. The Account Executive will also work together with the organization's team to bring new business to the organization.
Essential Functions: The Account Executive will provide expertise and advice on plans and services, focusing on medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. They will deliver exceptional customer service, update and maintain the Customer Service Management Database, and plan and attend meetings and benefit fairs. The role involves assisting in planning renewal and training meetings, organizing and reviewing materials, preparing renewal documents, and attending educational seminars. The Account Executive will support staff, complete special projects, and work both independently and collaboratively to achieve organizational goals. Professional conduct and appearance are essential. Additionally, they will assist the Marketing Manager in cultivating prospects and serve as a sales contact, presenting quotes to potential new group
Job Requirements:
A strong understanding of the health and disability benefits industry, with at least three years(preferably five years) of experience in medical, dental, vision, life and disability, and other benefits.
Must be a licensed producer and maintain a Life and Disability Insurance Producer license from the Office of the Insurance Commissioner of the State of Washington.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to facilitate successful interactions with
members and partners professionally.
Ability to deliver presentations to both large and small groups, tailoring content to the audience’s knowledge and understanding.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher) and familiarity with client management software such as Zywave Brokerage Builder is preferred.
A valid Washington State Driver’s License is required due to the significant travel involved in this position.
