Manufacturing Engineer 

Location: Spokane Valley, WA (In-office)

About the Role: Our client is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer specializing in mechatronics to join their innovative team. This role focuses on driving manufacturing improvement projects, developing mechatronic equipment, and implementing Lean methods. You will be responsible for creating manufacturing instructions and supporting production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement equipment and processes to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Provide technical support to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Prepare and document manufacturing methods and work instructions.
• Analyze and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Develop and incorporate best practices into methods and work instructions.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and equipment use.
• Collaborate with production planning and sales to meet schedules and obligations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or Process Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting in lieu of a degree.
• Strong problem-solving skills in mechanical, electrical, and general engineering.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, database development, process flow software, and CAD (Onshape/Solidworks).
