As a Machine Operator, you will play a pivotal role in our mission by working with advanced machinery to shape, manipulate, and finish metal parts to exact specifications. Our Machine Operators are the backbone of our operation, and we are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about precision, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: As a Machine Operator, your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Operating specialized machines such as roll formers, polishing lathes, pneumatic presses, and vices to process materials to precise specifications.
- Carefully inspecting materials and products within specified tolerances to ensure they meet high-quality standards.
- Using hand tools and calipers to measure products and verify accuracy.
- Tracking job operations and maintaining detailed logs to ensure efficient production.
- Ensuring controlled custody and accurate tracking of materials throughout the production process.
What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has:
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- The ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, particularly in aerospace manufacturing.
- A basic understanding of math and measurement tools.
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards is a plus.
Physical and Work Environment:
- You will work in a well-lit, clean environment with moderate noise levels. The role may involve occasional exposure to chemicals (such as acetone) during part cleaning.
- Physical requirements include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, perform fine hand motor manipulation, and use both hand and foot controls.
