Are you passionate about ensuring food safety and quality in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a motivated Quality Control Supervisor to lead a talented team and oversee critical functions in our SQF 2000 program. As the key point person for food safety and quality, you'll ensure compliance with both company and regulatory standards while driving continuous improvements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the Quality Control staff to maintain a high standard of product quality.
  • Act as the SQF Practitioner for the facility, responsible for the development, implementation, and improvement of the SQF 2000 program.
  • Oversee food safety and food quality functions, ensuring compliance with raw material and finished product specifications.
  • Provide laboratory expertise to analyze juice products, covering microbiological, chemical, and physical parameters (e.g., standard plate count, yeast, brix, acid content).
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, chemicals, and reagents for production and QC functions.
  • Lead the HACCP program, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and food sanitation practices.
  • Respond to product quality complaints, including foreign object investigations and branded product quality issues.
  • Set up flavor test panels and provide insightful reports on findings.
  • Prepare product formula sheets and audit documentation for internal and external reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Quality Control or laboratory settings, with proven leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in PC-based software (Word, Excel) for processing and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food laws, regulations, and HACCP requirements is a plus.
