Are you an experienced administrative professional with a strong technical skillset and a proactive approach to executive support? We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant to join the executive team at a local rehabilitation center in Spokane. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a confident and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-level environment.

Position Overview:

As the Executive Assistant, you will serve as the guardian of the executive hallway, ensuring smooth operations while providing top-tier support to four key leaders—two Therapy Directors, a Case Manager, and a Quality Manager. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, assertiveness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and screen visitors, answer doors, and escort guests as needed.

  • Discern and manage access to the executive hallway, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.

  • Handle incoming calls, provide professional assistance, and redirect as necessary.

  • Coordinate and manage complex calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements for the executive team.

  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and assist with presentation materials.

  • Order and maintain office supplies for the department.

  • Organize and execute receipt reconciliation.

  • Work closely with executives to provide comprehensive administrative support.

  • Push back on vendors and sales reps who attempt to solicit within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a similar high-level administrative role.

  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.

  • Ability to work independently with assertiveness and confidence—not shy or entry-level.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment handling multiple priorities.

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or medical facility is beneficial but not required.

  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Why Apply?

  • Work in a prestigious executive setting at one of Spokane’s leading rehabilitation institutes.

  • Engage in a role that goes beyond basic administrative tasks—be a key player in hospital operations.

  • Opportunity for a long-term career path with the potential for permanent hire.

  • Competitive compensation based on experience.
