Job Title: Store Manager

A leading producer of pavement sealer and sealcoat for various industries and applications. They pride ourselves on providing high-quality products and exceptional service to their customers. 

Job Summary:
The Store Manager is responsible for ensuring efficient daily operations at the store. This includes overseeing staff, managing inventory, equipment, and customer service, as well as ensuring safety protocols are followed. The Store Manager will be a self-driven leader with excellent communication skills, capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrival & Store Setup:

    • Arrive 15 minutes prior to opening to prepare the store for operation.

    • Check security cameras, deactivate alarms, and turn on lights and equipment.

    • Unlock gates and open doors to ensure a smooth opening process.

  • Tank Mixing:

    • Begin mixing tanks for a minimum of 15 minutes, ensuring all materials are prepared before customer loading.

    • Continue mixing during customer loading when necessary.

  • Stock & Equipment Check:

    • Verify stock levels of asphalt materials, additives, and supplies.

    • Inspect and prepare all loading equipment (e.g., loaders, trucks, conveyors) for daily use.

  • Leadership & Team Management:

    • Lead by example with a strong focus on communication and customer service.

    • Provide leadership in day-to-day operations, ensuring the team is aligned with company goals.

    • Delegate tasks and prioritize workloads efficiently.

  • Customer Service & Fulfillment:

    • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.

    • Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.

  • Safety & Compliance:

    • Monitor the store and warehouse environment for safety risks and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Experienced in counter sales/store management

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office/365.

  • Forklift certified (or willing to obtain certification).

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to ensure fulfillment of orders and timely inventory management.

  • Experience with tank mixing and industrial equipment is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.

  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in a warehouse or retail environment.
