Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Process Operator to join our team. The Process Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring equipment involved in the production process, ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor processing equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in production areas.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Monitor process parameters and make adjustments to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Prior experience working in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping.
