Job Full Description
A client of ours in Vancouver is looking for a Machinist to join their team.
Machinist (all levels) $ 18-32. Shifts – weekend night/day, and swing. . Sets up and operates a wide variety of industrial machines which may include CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Vertical Machining Centers, and surface grinders to machine ceramic parts. Machinists are expected to run 1-4 machines simultaneously and understand all aspects of set up and precision measuring. Machinists may also train other operators and machinists.

Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and observe CNC machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining; Adjusts machine controls or indicators as required.
- May measure, mark, and/or scribe dimensions and reference points on parts.
- Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig, borers, grinders, and shapers to maintain .0005 tolerance
- Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine controls.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Machinist experience (1 year minimum)
- Experience with the following machines:
- CNC Mills
- CNC Lathes
- Verticle Machining Centers
- Surface Grinders
Pay: $18-32 per hour DOE
Schedule: Multiple schedules available
