Part-Time Training Admin - Manufacturing Training Support
Job Overview
- Contract Position: 20-25 hours per week
- Duration: 2-3 months
- Primary Location: Hybrid position supporting a manufacturing facility in Vancouver and Ridgefield, WA
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with plant manager to review and redesign job descriptions for multiple departments
- Develop comprehensive new employee training checklists for:
- Manufacturing Department
- Packaging Department
- Blend Department
- Warehouse Department
- Facilities Department
Detailed Scope of Work
- Job Description Recrafting
- Conduct interviews with department managers and current employees
- Analyze existing job descriptions for accuracy and completeness
- Update job descriptions to reflect current roles, responsibilities, and skill requirements
- Ensure job descriptions align with current operational needs and industry standards
- Training Checklist Development
- Create standardized, department-specific onboarding checklists
- Design checklists that cover:
- Safety protocols
- Equipment operation
- Standard operating procedures
- Performance expectations
- Key performance indicators
- Develop clear, step-by-step training guides for each department
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial training environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation software
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Technical Skills
- Job description development
- Training curriculum design
- Process documentation
- Performance standards creation

- Comprehensive, updated job descriptions for 5 departments
- Standardized new employee training checklists
- Final documentation in editable digital format
Work Arrangement

Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience
