Job Full Description
A client of ours in Vancouver is looking for a Press Operator to join their team. This company manufactures heaters.
This is a temp to hire opportunity
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 5:30am - 4:00pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform typical press operations to support assembly floor with strong attention to detail
- Monitor and control machines on a daily basis to maintain daily and weekly production schedule
- Adjust machine parts as needed to ensure proper speed, pressure and amount of material for quality production
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Work history in the last 6 months
- Recent production experience
- Ability to stand on your feet 10 hours a day
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic understanding of computers
