Job Full Description
Interested in utilizing your customer service skills in a role that will also allow you to learn more about animals and the veterinary field? A veterinary clinic in Fairmont is now seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join their team!
This is an excellent permanent role offering fully paid employee-only benefits and discounts on veterinary services and products once you are hired on. The shift will be for the afternoons/evenings and hours are 11am - 6pm, and every other Saturday 7am to 2pm. This is a full-time permanent role. Occasional Saturday shifts are required, but you will not work EVERY Saturday. Compensation for this role is up to $15 hourly, based on experience.
Duties to Include:
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Taking payments
- Insurance verifications
- Filing and other administrative tasks as needed
- Light cleaning to maintain front waiting area
Our Ideal Candidate:
- At least 1+ year of customer service or administrative experience in a similar role
- Friendly and professional attitude, and ability to show empathy to clients
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office suite
- Veterinary office experience is strongly preferred, but not required
