Job Full Description
An oil and gas company in Morgantown is now seeking Shop / Yard employees to join their team. This is a full time position, with a schedule of Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with plenty of overtime available, and compensation up to $18 hourly, based on experience. Training and Mentor program provided.
Duties can Include:
- Help forklift driver load and unload trucks.
Load and unload industrial pipe on yard.
• Lift and place boards and tubing between layers of pipe.
• Insert thread protectors and dope pipe.
• Operate forklift if qualified and as needed.
• Perform breakdowns, inspections, cleanings and repairs on equipment.
• Deliver items to appropriate work stations for repair.
• Pressure wash equipment to clean and remove paint.
• Transport equipment via forklift or overhead crane.
• Pressure test equipment for both high and low pressure.
• Paint equipment.
- Pressure test equipment for both high and low pressure.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
Other various duties as directed.
Qualified Candidates Should:
- Have a general knowledge of the use of basic hand and power tools
- Be able to accommodate on call, evening, and weekend hours
- Position requires drug screen, physical, and background check
