Our client, a company that restores anilox rolls for the printing industry is looking to add two Quality Inspectors (one for incoming and one for final inspection) to their team. Best part about this – NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY! If you are willing to work hard with the willingness to learn, they will train you to become a Quality Inspector.
Quality Inspectors job highlights:
- 1st shift, Monday – Thursday: 6am-4:30pm
- Work 4/10-hour shifts with the potential for overtime
- $17.00/hour

Responsibilities of Quality Inspectors:
- Safely and correctly load/unload shipments from carrier’s truck.
- Safely and correctly box/un-box any crated rolls and sleeves.
- Read blueprints, shipping notices, and other specifications and inspects products to determine size and dimensional characteristics of rolls and sleeves.
- Capture and record the mechanical, technical aspects, and cosmetic features of product received.
- Attaches identification labels or stencils of customer name and roll number.
- Operate forklift to move boxes/crates around shop.
- Operate overhead cranes to lift/move anilox rolls and sleeves.
- Ensure quality inspections are being done efficiently.
- Other Functions including Quality Photo, Evaluations, Roll Scope, etc.
- Other duties, when necessary, as specified by management.
- Ability to work overtime as required by the company.
- Total accountability (all aspects of the position).
Qualifications of Quality Inspectors:
- High school Diploma or Equivalent - REQUIRED
- Manufacturing experience a plus but not necessary
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work overtime as required by the company
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to read or ability to learn to read measuring devices such as: tape measures and micrometers
- Ability to read or ability to learn to read blueprints
- Have a strong ability to problem-solve.
- Be punctual, meticulous, have the willingness to learn and cross train
