Manual Machinist – Lathe Operator

Manual Machinist Job Highlights:
- Full-time, 1st shift position, 4-10’s, 6:00am-4:00pm Monday-Thursday.
- Pay: Hourly pay ranging from $24-35 per hour, depending on experience

Manual Machinist Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual horizontal lathes to machine precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders to ensure accurate machining
- Use precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify tolerances
- Safely operate overhead cranes, and other lifting devices to handle large components
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following OSHA and company safety guidelines
Manual Machinist Job Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience with manual machining, fabrication, or both.
- Familiarity with lathe operation and precision measuring tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks as needed
