Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local credit union and we are searching for Member Contact Specialists to join their team. In this role you would be responsible for efficiently handling telephone inquiries from current and potential members regarding products, services, transactions, and other information and cross selling the credit union’s products and services. Candidates must be available to work between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday through Friday. Full time and part time opportunities are available.
Wage:$17.00/hour.
If you are bilingual in Spanish or Hmong, you will receive a $1/hr premium after completing and passing the language exam.
Job Duties Include:
- Providing prompt member information, assistance, and correspondence in response to telephone inquiries. This includes, but is not limited to, follow up via email, fax, live chat, and mail.
- Engaging and coordinating the assistance of employees from other departments to provide prompt resolution to members’ problems.
- Anticipating member's financial needs and cross-selling the credit union’s products and services to help our members live their best lives!
- Modeling the credit union’s service standards of being friendly and outgoing, non-judgmental, focused, trustworthy, and confident.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 1 year of similar or related experience is required.
- Call center experience is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual ability (Spanish or Hmong) is a plus
- Excellent written and telephone communication skills
