Job Full Description
We have an immediate Warehouse openings on 1st and 2nd shift with a growing manufacturing client in Middleton.
Openings are temp-to-hire, with great growth potential!
Responsibilities:
Fills customers'' orders in accordance with specifications on order form. Receives and reads customer order to identify item(s) to be pulled. Verifies stock availability. Operating warehouse machinery in accordance with established procedures, obtains item(s) in stock from shelves. Conveys, or prepares, orders for wrapping and delivery. Prepares and maintains records. Cleans and maintains work area to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Job Duties
- Fills orders in accordance with specifications on order form
- Print order from computerized system
- Pick orders in accordance with order form specifications, using lift or order picker
- Initiate cycle count requests when inventory variances are discovered
- Band/Wrap orders for delivery
- Complete import/export paperwork, as necessary
- Complete cycle count sheets
- Maintain warehouse operations
- Load and unload trucks
- Complete replenishment cards
- Replenish materials into their proper location
- Repair pallets
- Perform daily maintenance on warehouse equipment (maintain, charge, clean batteries). Maintain warehouse environment
- Clean assigned areas; remove trash; recycle as appropriate
- Ensure work area is in a clean and safe condition
- Report unsafe conditions to department leadership
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred - 6 months warehouse experience
- Fork Lift License/experience a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Accuracy/Attention to detail
- Operate straight lift/order picker, turret lift, sidewinder, and multi
- Understand team structure, roles and responsibilities
- Must be able to prioritize and make decisions
- Must be self-motivated and have excellent attendance
- Must be willing to work all assigned overtime
Hours:
- 1st shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm
- 2nd shift: Monday- Friday 2:30pm-11pm
Pay:
- $18/hour
- $19/hour for 2nd shift.
