3rd shift Maintenance Tech - up to $37/hr November 12, 2024

Located in Madison, WI

Pay: $25 - $30/hr.

We are currently seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing client located in Fitchburg!

Key Responsibilities

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer''s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Troubleshoots production issues to eliminate downtime and makes repairs in a timely manner to meet production needs- Maintain records of maintenance on all plant equipment.
Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance

Requirements

Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic blueprints and machine manuals

Must be willing to work flexible hours in support of continued education and staff fluctuations

Must be experience with Microsoft Suite programs. Experience with CMMS program (Maximo)

Candidates must be enrolled or willing to enroll in an accredited Maintenance program

Strong oral and written communication skills to write up an equipment analysis for root cause documentation

Successful candidates will also be required to successfully complete required coursework in the field.

Pay: $26 - $37/hr. depending on experience. Pay increase offered with completed coursework.

Hours: 3rd Shift - 9p-5a Sun-Thurs
