Job Full Description
We are currently seeking a skilled candidate to succeed in the role of Granite Fabrication at a granite and flooring company in Dane, WI. This is a full-time, hourly position on 1st shift.
This is a full-time, evaluation hire role
Essential Duties/Responsibilities of the Granite Fabricator:
- Operate fabrication equipment in a safe manner following manufacturer''s procedures.
- Maintain machines on a daily basis.
- Maintain work area so that it is clean and neat at all times.
- Strict adherence to company safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of the Granite Fabricator:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous fabrication or machine operation experience required
- Ability to lift between 75-100 pounds of material unassisted and on a regular basis.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Good math skills
- Ability to be personable in customer interaction scenarios.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Pay: Around $24/hr. based on experience
