Job Full Description
Express Employment is hiring for an Electrical Technician on Madison's East side! Our client specializes in the manufacturing of medical, pharmaceutical and animal health packaging for companies around the world. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing all types of electrical systems and equipment, as well as supervising and training maintenance electricians on the job as required. Qualified candidates need to be able to work independently, have thorough knowledge of current National Electrical Code, read blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturers' installation manuals to complete assigned projects
Pay: DOE
Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
Work includes:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair moderate to complex equipment problems, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical issues
- Knowledgeable in the use of multi-meters, hand tools, and computers and strong ability to troubleshoot many various types of electronic systems, install new equipment and make repairs
- Electrical work on installation of new services, trouble shooting, grounding and repairs
- Understanding of PLC and Machine Control Systems
- Read blueprints, understand plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Assist other departments with improvement projects
- Is capable of data entry and some analysis of Maintenance Management System
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years work related experience in Hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical fields
- Strong electrical background with emphasis around controls
- Experience with handling of ESD sensitive items
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing environment
