Saukville Rubber Company looking for Press Technician

 

 

1st shift - 2nd shift opportunities available!

$18/hour + shift premium

We offer shift premiums of $1.00 per hour for second shift workers and $2.00 per hour for third shift workers

Willing to train on 1st shift 6:30 am - 2:30 pm for approximately 2-3 weeks depending upon the learning curve.

 

Opportunities available...

1st shift working 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM / Monday - Friday

2nd Shift working 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM / Monday - Friday

3rd Shift working 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM / Monday - Friday

 

Clean environment, moderate physical activity; repetitive work, lifting up to 40#'s and being exposed to hot and sometimes humid environment.

 

GENERAL DUTIES:

Machine operation, inspection, housekeeping, paperwork, following directions 

 

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Operation of Rep rubber molding machines.
  2. Remove and de-mold parts.
  3. Inspection of product.
  4. Filling out paperwork, legibly.
  5. Following work instructions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

KNOWLEDGE OF:

  1. General machine operation.
  2. General inspection practices
  3. General quality & environmental systems.
  4. General housekeeping practices (clean area, recycle, etc).
  5. Company Policies.

SKILL IN:

  1. Basic machine operation.
  2. Visual inspection.
  3. Basic hand and air tools.

ABILITY TO:

  1. Understand, communicate and follow oral and written instructions.
  2. Work with fellow employees.
  3. Exert moderate physical effort in performing work.
  4. Stand eight hours per day.
  5. Repetitively lift up to forty pounds.
  6. Work in a warm and occasionally smoky environment.
  7. Continuously work with hands and fingers.
  8. Understand and react to emergency situations (fire, spill, etc).

AFTER ON THE JOB TRAINING, PROGRESSION CAN BE:

  1. Learning to perform mold changes.
  2. New job setup.
  3. Machine setups.
  4. First Piece Inspection
  5. Machine Adjustments and Troubleshooting
