Job Full Description
Port Washington company looking for Robotic Weld Setup Operators on 1st and 2nd Shifts!
Key duties and responsibilities may include:
- Operate equipment welders, including resistance welders and robotic welders, safely and effectively to meet standard rates
- Perform the setup process for resistance welders, Pemserters and assembly equipment, to ensure jobs can be run safely and at-rate to company standards
- Adhere to defined quality procedures to ensure quality welds through visual inspection techniques
- Accurately record labor, inventory, tooling and production job data in ERP system
- Performs basic material handling duties with the use of carts and pallet jacks to move material and tooling
- Maintain equipment thru weekly preventative maintenance tasks and submit timely maintenance work orders
- Will provide direction to Weld Equipment Operators during run, as well as train new Equipment Weld Setup Operators
- Other duties as assigned or required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as Setup Operator required
- High school diploma or equivalent education
Job Specifications:
- Pay Range: $18+/hour DOE
- Shift(s): 1st and 2nd
- Hours: 5:30am-3:30pm OR 3:30pm-1:30am
