Job Full Description
West Bend metal manufacturing company looking for Laser Operators on 2nd shift!
Key duties and responsibilities may include:
- Perform setups and operations on Bystronic and Mitsubishi CO2 Lasers
- Check material thickness for accuracy and load material into laser stocker
- De-nest and remove laser oxide from parts
- Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations
- Train others as needed on set-up and operation of Lasers
- Identify and troubleshoot machine alignment and cut condition problems
- Other duties as needed/assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Laser or CNC operating background
- Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurements tools
- Demonstrated competency in basic shop math
- Ability to operate a forklift
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Job Specifications:
- Pay Range: $18-24/hour DOE
- Shift(s): 2nd
- Hours: 2pm-10pm
