Job Full Description
Ozaukee County metal manufacturing company looking for Metal Finishers!
Key duties and responsibilities may include:
- Grind, file, or sand metal surfaces to remove burrs and sharp edges using hand tools and grinders
- Visually and physically inspect parts for any dents or scratches
- Operate machines to perform simple machine operations on highly repetitive and standardized parts
- Understand blueprint reading
- Interpret drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine the finish condition of workpieces, sequences of metal finishing operations, and setup requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in metal manufacturing (finishing experience preferred!)
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Attention to detail
Job Specifications:
- Pay Range: $17-19/hour
- Shift(s): 1st
- Hours: 7am-3:30pm
