Job Full Description
West Bend company looking for MIG and Robotic Welders!
Key duties and responsibilities may include:
- Lift work pieces manually or using hoist and secure work piece in fixture or loads automatic feeding device
- Calculate as set controls to regulate machine factors, such as wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, type of gas, and type of weld rod
- Start machines, engage feed, and observe operation
- Inspect and measure machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications
- Move machine controls and guides to adjust machine
- Unload welded frames from robotic welder and place on appropriate containers
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
- Other duties as needed / assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- FANUC Robotic Certification preferred (not required!)
- Certificate or degree in welding preferred (not required!)
- 1 year or more of welding experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents like blueprints, welding symbols, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
Job Specifications:
- Pay Range: $18-22/hour DOE
- Shift(s): 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
- Hours: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
