Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting professional development and a strong team culture.
• Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential risks, and propose corrective actions as necessary.
• Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and addressing any issues that arise.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role is a plus.
• Proven experience in the Mining & Metals industry or a closely related field is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying financial information to diverse audiences.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.

Pay

$80,000 - $120,000, depending on experience
