General Automotive Technician - $22/hr November 19, 2024

Located in Oshkosh, WI

Pay: $22/hr

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Pay: $22/hr

Duties:

Inspect and maintain vehicle fluids, including oil, coolant, transmission, brake, and power steering fluids.
Perform routine oil changes and filter replacements.
Diagnose engine issues, including mechanical and electrical problems.
Perform minor to major repairs, including engine breakdowns, rebuilds, and installations.
Conduct general maintenance tasks like belt replacements, spark plug changes, and air filter servicing.
Address wear-and-tear issues to prevent major malfunctions.
Assist with day-to-day operations in a full-service shop setting.
Use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment to complete tasks efficiently

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years working in full-service automotive repair shops.
Proven hands-on experience with gasoline engines in maintenance and repair roles.
No specific certifications required
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
