Hours: Friday - Sunday, 6:00am to 6:00pm
Pay: $20.00 /HR
Duties:
- Operates and manages material-handling equipment, such as overhead cranes and forklifts, to load raw materials and prepare equipment for precise cutting operations.
- Sets up cutting equipment by downloading and configuring programs to meet specific customer requirements.
- Performs pre- and post-cut measurements of materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to customer specifications.
- Utilizes precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers, to validate material compliance.
- Reads and interprets blueprints to ensure proper setup and quality standards are maintained.
- Conducts quality inspections to verify that finished products meet required standards.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in operating CNC machines, with specific experience in CNC turret machines preferred.
- Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Experienced in handling materials using cranes, forklifts, and other mechanical equipment.
- Knowledgeable in blueprint reading and interpreting technical documents.
- Familiarity with quality inspection processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Capable of working with hand tools and other precision equipment.
